The
concept for this site came from a newly published
book called " Just the Way it Was".
The book is a simple memoir written by an Irish
Immigrant who was raised in Leitrim County.
It details every day life in rural ireland during
the 1930's.
Story
telling is the surest way to keep memories alive
and connect people to their past. This site
was created in hopes that others will share
their simple stories, humor and facts about
a life or visits to Ireland. This type of information
is richer because it is passed down from the
heart and based on real experience.
